LGI INSPECTION
CORROSION MITIGATION
This project involved corrosion mitigation works on an offshore structural platform, aimed at extending the service life of critical steel components exposed to harsh marine conditions. Our team carried out surface preparation, rust removal, inspection, and application of protective anti-corrosion coatings on structural members and pipelines located above seawater level. Working at height and over water, the crew implemented strict safety procedures while restoring the integrity of the steel structure and preventing further deterioration caused by saltwater exposure. The activity helps protect assets, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure the long-term reliability of offshore infrastructure.
UTM on RIG JACK LEG.
This project involved Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) inspection on a jack-up rig leg to assess the structural integrity of critical offshore components. Miplus Engineering technicians conducted non-destructive testing using calibrated ultrasonic equipment to measure remaining wall thickness and detect potential material loss caused by corrosion or erosion. The inspection was carried out in accordance with industry standards, providing accurate data for integrity assessment, maintenance planning, and regulatory compliance. This activity supports early detection of structural degradation and helps ensure the continued safety and reliability of offshore drilling infrastructure.
PAUT SCAN CALLIBRATION
WELDING OPERATION
Our team successfully executed a comprehensive lifting gear inspection offshore, ensuring the integrity and safe operation of critical hoisting components. Our team carried out a detailed assessment of wire ropes, shackles, hooks, and connection points while working at height under strict safety protocols. This operation helped verify load-bearing capacity, identify early signs of wear, and maintain compliance with offshore lifting standards, supporting uninterrupted and secure marine operations.
MPI on BOP RAMS
Miplus Engineering conducted a detailed Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on a BOP RAM assembly to assess the integrity of critical pressure-control components. Through controlled testing and flaw detection procedures, the inspection ensured operational reliability, enhanced drilling safety compliance, and supported the long-term performance and service life of the Blowout Preventer system.
